Cisco TelePresence Gateway
Cisco TelePresence provides a high-quality immersive collaboration experience, but is not natively compatible with standards-based H.323 and SIP telepresence and videoconferencing systems. The Internet2 Commons offers gateway services to bring Cisco TelePresence and H.323/SIP based systems together.
This service provides Cisco TelePresence interoperability for an individual endpoint based on the TIP standard. A dedicated meet-me dial-in number for an H.323/SIP endpoint and a Cisco TelePresence endpoint are provided. The service is priced based on the number of screens of interoperability, on a per year basis.
