H.320 ISDN Technology and the Internet2 Commons

The Internet2 Commons does not provide an H.320 gateway service for ISDN-line users. However, arrangements have been made with the following organization(s) who will provide H.320 services to Commons members for a fee.

The Internet2 Commons H.323 support staff will work with these organization(s) as needed to interconnect H.320 conferences with H.323 Commons conferences.

List of H.320 support organizations:

• Ohio State University (Networking and Telecommunications division) — This organization has good connectivity to the Commons MCUs, since they are on the same campus. Call Carl Palmer or Derick Mays at 614-688-3342, or send email to videoconferencing@units.ohio-state.edu.
