Use these recommended tools to diagnose end-to-end performance problems.
- H.323 Beacon is
a newly developed tool that can measure and monitor an H.323 videoconference.
- Internet2 Detective gives
status on Internet2 network connectivity, an estimate of available bandwidth,
and multicast capabilities.
- Iperf measures
TCP and UDP bandwidth performance, including bandwidth, jitter, and packet
loss.
- Ping Plotter performs
visual traceroute and ping tests along the entire path.
MRTG (Multi
Router Traffic Grapher) monitors the traffic load on network links.
- Gnuplotping pings
